Host: Chan Borey

An art student in Phnom Penh, Borey is performs regularly to put himself through university. He hopes that teaching will allow him to obtain some savings and contribute back to the academy that taught him this skill.

The shadow puppets are mostly made of leather and held with 2 or 3 supporting sticks of wood. Most of these puppets have many intricate holes which are slowly hand-carved one by one to create a more beautiful image.

These stories can be told by one single puppeter or for the big productions there can be more than 10 puppeters.
