The Team behind Gazaab Social Ventures!

Jamon Mok

​Jamon is an entrepreneurial zealot who not only practices but preaches entrepreneurship. Besides his achievements with Gazaab, he is also an astute speaker and leader, having spoken on platforms such as the inaugural TedxYouth @ Singapore event as well as a panelist at the Social Innovation Experience.

 

Before starting Gazaab Social Ventures, Jamon also founded Little Voice Games, a game studio focused on pioneering a new genre of games - Games that are fun to play and allows players to subconsciously learn from playing. Raising close to a $100k to fund its development from a 3-man outfit to more than 18, Jamon has had his share of the startup life, and is totally enjoying it. 

Akash Gurung

​A native Nepali from the village of Manang, Akash inherently understands the plight of his people and is a great advocate of democratizing poverty alleviation. He understands the situation on the ground best and his ability to connect with people and convince them of the value of Gazaab is a prized possession.

​

Akash has also had the opportunity to manage his father’s business as a hotelier and is well rounded in managing a company and its people. His entrepreneurial streak comes down from a long line of family entrepreneurs and is himself an enterprising individual intent on conquering his endeavours.

 

Rijendra Pradhananga

Rijendra is passionate about entrepreneurship and management leading him to found Chocoberry - the first self-serve frozen yogurt store in Nepal. With stints as supervisor at Bingham hotels, marketing manager at MB Petrolube industries and Himalayan Tea producers cooperative, he has a wealth of experience in a myriad of industries, making him a valuable asset to Gazaab. Rijendra also holds a MBA from the University of Wales.

Anil Gurung

​Anil has 5 years of experience at Vale as an analyst involved in research (macro-economics, demand for steel and iron ore) and strategy for the Asia-Pacific region. During this time, Anil had the opportunity to travel extensively through the region meeting with various businesses extending from investment banks, consultancies, research specialists to site visits at ports, mines and factories.

Aside from his professional skills, Anil is also passionate about social work. During his university days he was involved in and a leader of two socially impactful projects to Nepal. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a second major in Sociology from Singapore Management University.

 

Sudeep Sayami

Sudeep is deeply passionate about travelling, meeting new people and social work. Having worked as shift leader in a restaurant and also worked in a retail chain in UK, Sudeep is experienced in retail management and handling the customer experience.  With an MBA from the university of Wales, Sudeep is very excited to be part of Gazaab Social Venture's new social courses program and help hundreds of entrepreneurs move out of poverty while providing tourists with a magical and authentic Nepali experience.
